Mountain River Life is built around collections, not one-off graphics. Each collection begins with a place, a moment, or a belief about life in the mountains.
Some are rooted in specific landscapes. Others are built around shared experiences. Together, they form the framework of the brand.
Bow Valley
Over millions of years, the Bow River carved the valley that now holds Banff National Park and many of its most photographed places. The Bow Valley collection draws from those places, using colour to reflect the tones that repeat across lakes, peaks, forests, and stone throughout the valley.
Mountain Moments
Most trips to the mountains are remembered through small moments — watching the sun rise over the peaks, pausing at the top of a long hike, or winding down together at the end of the day. The Mountain Moments collection focuses on those slices of time and the objects that naturally fit into them.
Larchwood
For a few short weeks each autumn, alpine larches turn the Rockies gold. Valleys fill with golden larches, evergreen pines, and the white of the first snow. Larchwood is born of those fleeting colours.
Raised Wild
Raised Wild is about teaching kids to explore and grow up outdoors. The collection focuses on shared adventures between parents and children, with pieces designed to be worn together as part of everyday family life.
Identity
Identity pieces are simple and restrained. They reflect the idea that loving the mountains doesn’t need to be loud — it can be quiet, confident, and lived in.
Little Adventurers
Little Adventurers is designed to spark curiosity and a love for the outdoors from an early age. The collection focuses on learning about the mountains, wildlife, and the natural world through playful, approachable designs.
Canmore
The Canmore collection is rooted in the mountain town where we opened our first store. These pieces reflect the everyday connection to place and why it matters to us.
