About Erik
Reading to his son, Grayson, inspired Erik Paul to create books that become family favourites. His stories invite parents and children to make new memories and revisit treasured ones, from discovering mountain wildlife to remembering a favourite trip or sharing the magic of Christmas.
Erik is also the co-founder and president of Mountain River Life, a Canadian Rockies-inspired business. Through its products and Canmore store, he creates unique, meaningful souvenirs and gifts. In 2026, Erik was named a Business Elite Awards 40 Under 40 honouree.
Erik lives in Calgary with his wife, Kristyn, and son, Grayson.
